Digby and my team welcome you to Wheal Play!

Wheal Play is our brand new indoor soft play area here at Heartlands. A riot of colour and a safe place for kids to play while the adults relax. Part of the Exhibition Centre has now been transformed into an amazing three story soft play area meaning that you can now play at Heartlands even when it’s raining!

There’s plenty of comfortable and colourful furnishings for the adults, plenty of space to sit and relax, enjoy some refreshments, meet and make friends or enjoy one of the many games on hand to borrow.

You can find Wheal Play in the Heartlands Visitor Centre just over the courtyard from the Red River Café. Look for the headframe – we’re just behind it.

We’re open almost every day, from 9 ‘til 6. My team and I can’t wait to meet you! Keep an eye out though: we’re closed on the first Wednesday of every month for cleaning and maintenance, to keep Wheal Play as clean and safe as we possibly can.

There’s plenty of food and drink on offer too, the same standard that you’d expected from our award winning Red River Café.

Wheal Play is the perfect place to wile away a few hours or to host your special birthday party. We can’t wait to see you!
